The society is being formed with the very basic but very important primary objectives with the above in mind.

• UTES’ primary objective is to make society clear about the necessity of building awareness of “global warming” within the 7-11 target age group to ensure long term commitment in the mitigation of the impacts of climate change.
• The second objective is to create an awareness of the potential effects and impacts of Kyoto Protocol for the business community and enable them to successfully adopt socially responsible policies, while maintaining competitiveness in international markets, thus introducing a green economy.

In recent years Turkey has achieved an impressive economic growth, the engines of this growth has been the tourism, textiles, automotive, construction and finance sectors. High level of growth of tourism and export orientated industrial manufacturing segments have also stimulated the fast growth of Civil Aviation of Turkey by more than double the global average.

In line with the growth of traffic with EU, and legislations to be adapted according to Kyoto Protocol, Civil Aviation in Turkey, like the other export oriented sectors serving EU, will have to adapt competitive measures.
